This 1977 Chevrolet K20 Suburban Silverado rides on a lifted suspension along with 18″ Detroit Steel wheels and is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 linked to a four-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential. It was sold on BaT in September 2023 and was acquired by the seller later that same year. Service since that time involved repairing the tailgate window as well as replacing the transfer case output shaft seal, driver’s door striker, and valve cover gaskets. The truck is finished in Cardinal Red over Buckskin vinyl and is further equipped with manually locking front hubs, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, the Trailering Special package, a 40-gallon fuel tank, air conditioning, and a Delco-Bose stereo. This Suburban is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Cardinal Red (70), and the bodsides and tailgate were painted to resemble faux woodgrain trim under previous ownership. Details include a brush guard, window tint film, a receiver hitch, and dual side-exit exhaust pipes. The rear bumper is dented.
Antique White—finished 18″ Detroit Steel wheels are wrapped in Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires measuring 33×12.5″ at each corner. The truck rides on a lifted suspension and is equipped with manually locking front hubs, power steering, and power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. The steering gearbox was replaced in 2022.
Buckskin vinyl trims the two rows of bench seats, and the air conditioning system has been converted to utilize R134a refrigerant. Carpeted floor mats line the footwells, and appointments include a Delco-GM push-button AM/FM stereo, a Hull thermometer, and front door map pockets. The driver’s door striker and tailgate window clutch and lock cylinder were replaced in July 2024. The seller notes that the right rear window roller is loose.
The instrument panel is accented by woodgrain trim and houses a 100-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel-level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 65k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 was bored .030″ over and built by Phoenix Engine in 2022. The valve cover gaskets were replaced in July 2025.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential. A larger-capacity 40-gallon fuel tank was optioned from the factory. The clutch and flywheel were replaced in April 2022, and the transfer case output shaft seal was changed in July 2025.
