This 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 was registered in Missouri for 35 years until the current owner’s acquisition in 2022, and it now has 212k miles. Finished in red over gray cloth and vinyl, it is powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Equipment includes 15″ chrome wheels, locking front hubs, chrome bumpers with black end caps, front disc brakes, KC auxiliary lights, air conditioning, and an aftermarket stereo. This FJ60 is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Massachusetts title.
The truck is finished in red, and the hood and right quarter panel were repainted under prior ownership. Features include dual round headlights, chrome bumpers with black end caps, bumper-mounted KC auxiliary lights, a rear window wiper, and a split tailgate. An accident involving another vehicle is noted in a February 1989 entry on the Carfax report.
The 15″ chrome wheels are mounted with Goodyear Wrangler A/T tires. The front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The front brake hoses and sway bar links were replaced in 2023, and the shocks and brake master cylinder were replaced in preparation for the sale.
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in patterned gray cloth and vinyl as well as a matching folding rear bench and door panels. Equipment includes air conditioning, an aftermarket stereo, a center console, and a rear window defroster.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a 4,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 212k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six is equipped with a single carburetor and was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The radiator, valve cover and gasket, thermostat, power steering pump, and transmission pan were replaced and the power steering fluid was flushed in 2023. Signs of an oil leak are noted by the selling dealer, the emissions equipment has been removed, rust is present near the spare wheel carrier, and the washer fluid reservoir cap is missing.
