This 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 is said to have been purchased by a family member of its current owner in 1992 and was acquired in 2023. Service since that time involved changing the fluids and installing an Old Man Emu suspension lift kit and LED headlights in addition to replacing the oil pan gasket, crankshaft seal, battery, water pump, alternator, ignition coil, air conditioning compressor, muffler, fuel tank and hoses, spark plugs, drive belts, tires, and various brake components. Power comes from a 4.0-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case, and the truck is finished in Beige Metallic over tan cloth. Further equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, manually locking front hubs, and an Alpine head unit with smartphone connectivity. This FJ62 shows 116k miles and is now offered by the consigning dealer—a BaT Local Partner—with an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The truck is finished in Beige Metallic (4G8) and features quad LED headlights, window tint film, mud guards, a split tailgate, and power-adjustable mirrors with chrome assemblies. The tailgate left support strut, wiper motor, and side marker lights were replaced in July 2023. Dents and scratches are noted on various body panels.
Bright 15″ steel wheels are wrapped in 32×11.5″ Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. The truck rides on a lifted suspension that includes Old Man Emu Nitrocharger shocks and revised leaf springs, and the front axle has a steering stabilizer and Aisin manually locking hubs. The front knuckles along with the brake master cylinder, front discs and pads, and rear shoes and drums were changed in July 2023.
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in patterned tan cloth as well as a color-matching folding rear bench and door panels. A touchscreen Alpine head unit with Apple CarPlay connectivity has been installed, and appointments include air conditioning, a center console, a rear-window defroster, and power windows and locks. A tear is noted in the side of the driver’s seat bottom, and the audio speakers along with the heater valve and lines were replaced in July 2023.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and battery voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 116k miles, approximately 3k of which have been added under current ownership.
The fuel-injected 3F-E 4.0L inline-six was factory rated at 155 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. An aluminum radiator is fitted, and service since July 2023 involved replacing the oil pan gasket, crankshaft seal, battery, water pump, alternator, ignition coil, air conditioning compressor, fuel tank and hoses, spark plugs, and drive belts.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The transmission shifter bushings and fluid were changed in July 2023, and the muffler and tailpipe were replaced in January 2026.
