This 1967 Volkswagen Type 2 Sunroof Deluxe bus has 21 windows and was refurbished under prior ownership. The bus is finished in turquoise and white over Tiffany Blue cloth and vinyl and is powered by a 1.5-liter flat-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels, a retractable cloth sunroof, a roof rack, dual mirrors, and a push-button AM/FM radio. It has won numerous awards from various local shows and Volkswagen events and was acquired by the seller in 2024. This Type 2 T1 is now offered with prior awards, artwork, and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.
The 21-window body was refinished in the current shade of turquoise and white during the aforementioned refurbishment. Features include a retractable cloth sunroof, a roof rack with wood slats, dual mirrors, and white-finished bumpers with overriders. Paint meter readings are provided in the gallery along with images of dents and paint cracks.
White-finished 14″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are mounted with Milestar Touring SLE tires with faux-whitewall trim rings. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.
The cab was refreshed under previous ownership and the split front bench seat is upholstered in Tiffany Blue cloth and vinyl. Further appointments include a dash-mounted basket, an analog clock, a push-button AM/FM radio, rubber floor liners, sliding windows, and a cabin heater.
The right-side cargo doors open to reveal a rear cabin that features two rows of bench seats trimmed to match the front. Jail bars are installed on the rear windows in the cargo area.
